Help with your daily review

Understand sources, maintain your saved work, and resolve access or usability problems.

Portfolio imports and duplicate lots

Download the CSV template in Portfolio. Use the columns Symbol, Company Name, Shares, Average Cost, and Notes. Quote fields that contain commas. Shares can include four decimal places; average cost uses USD. Review the complete preview before confirming.

A matching symbol, share count, and average cost prompts a duplicate review. Choose skip matches when importing the same records again. Choose add another lot only when the repeated record represents an intentional additional position. Edit inaccurate records or remove them from totals; removed holdings remain available to restore.

ETF overlap uses the dated composition map you provide. It is partial when supplied weights cover less than the full fund. Uploading a source link does not independently verify the composition.

Research dates, definitions, and missing data

Research combines quote observations, reported annual financial periods, SEC filings, and available issuer facts. Compare reporting dates before comparing values. A figure marked unavailable means that evidence was not obtained; it does not mean zero.

Annual P/E uses the displayed price and the annual diluted earnings per share available for that company. It is historical, is not a forecast or a trailing-twelve-month estimate, and can be affected by different dates or stock splits. Free cash flow is derived from operating cash flow less capital spending for matching periods. ETF fees are dated issuer facts and can change.

Save a comparison or research note to revisit it. Saved date context is historical; reopening the tool checks fresh sources. Exports retain saved work and dates rather than refreshing financial figures.

Alert recording and notification timing

Alerts evaluate available quote observations while the site is open. A recorded trigger shows its rule, threshold, observed value, and timestamp. Quiet hours, snoozing, and hiding the monitor silence interruptions while matching observations continue recording.

Browser notifications require permission and depend on browser behavior. An in-app record does not prove a browser notification was delivered. Closed-site monitoring and email delivery are not available. Alerts are research starting points, not instructions to buy or sell.

Sign-in and paid-access recovery

Sign in with the same ChatGPT account used for membership. In Account and billing, select the option to recheck an existing subscription. If another account is signed in, switch accounts and return to your intended tool. A checkout success page by itself does not establish paid access; access follows verified subscription state.

If rechecking still fails, save an issue below. Include the plan, approximate purchase date, and what message appears. Do not include card numbers, passwords, or secret credentials.

Quick glossary

Observed at
The timestamp attached to a market value, which can be earlier than when the site checked its source.
Source checked
When a feed was requested. A new check can return a previous session’s close.
Annual period
The company’s financial year used for a reported figure. Different companies may report on different dates.
Concentration
A position’s share of the priced portfolio. Missing quotes limit the coverage of that calculation.
Hypothetical downside
A calculation using an assumed price change. It is not a forecast or a probability estimate.
Confirmed or estimated event
Whether the displayed date is directly supported by the event source or is explicitly identified as an estimate. Missing dates are not inferred from fiscal periods.
